The Golden Windlass

Zed returns for more adventures on the canals. Joined this time by his friend Dwain they unwittingly become involved in a cunning plan, instigated by Zed’s wicked uncle Darren. Catching up with old friends like Rocket Ron and his two ferrets, he also meets Smokey Joe a mildly eccentric, colourful character who has forsaken modern life to be a man of the road.
This is the ongoing story of a young boy from a rough South London housing estate, who having run away is semi adopted by Tim and Peggy, two boat people, and their dog Barney, and his struggle to reconcile the two extremes in his life and where his future lies.
